Realized in 1920 as a bike factory, the building was totally redeveloped in 1995 by a group of architects including Gianmaria Beretta, which have turned it into their architecture firm.
The project has involved the demolition of two buildings originally at the plot’s center, and the creation of a large internal courtyard and of an underground garage.
The courtyard is the characteristic feature of the project, together with many elements as a “triage” in the entrance, covering the view of the garage ramp, as the selection of a Milanese typical paving, and the placement of a big oak in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by wisteria plants along all the entire perimeter.
